Papa repetitively declared 2020 as they year of Restoration as the last decade was coming to an end.

We stood in great anticipation to the niceties that this new decade was to come filled with.

However, the reality to it is that, restoration is coupled with a lot of unlearning.
The unlearning is catapulted by the healing, liberation, and shift of perspective that comes with.

That right there my friends, is the toughest bit of that journey😣.

Nevertheless, we have entered a season of transition and for us to reap all the bounty that is in store, it will be imperative to tow the line.

So even as He calls us out of:

the toxicity which became too familiar that we made it home.

or the hurt that we’d accommodated and deeply embraced making it a great part of us.

or the hopelessness that checked in as a disappointment management skill and never left.

Or the scars that we had made our identity; our bragging rights.

Or the limitations we had embraced as our ‘why’ narratives.

Or the walls we had built up too high for our own comfort as a ‘survival’ technique.

Or the defeat we had allowed to come in and make home in us due to a series of events.

Or the self-sufficiency we took so much delight in that had us check out as steady and a reliable mate.

Or the pride mountain we have refused to get out of because it’s difficult for us to have an honest look at the mirror and address what’s staring back at us.

Or the limb that has sort of given us a platform thus wholeness is no longer appealing.

Whatever that is for you,

God is calling us to let go and embrace this new course.

It’s a tough mountain that we’ll have to climb, but right there at the top of it lies a treasure chest for our indulgence.😊

Hugs and Kisses❤️❤️
