📌📍Papa spoke: Path less travelled.

Many at times we find ourselves in the most interesting of places by virtue of the event and not fascination really.

How can a place that served you well become a place of turmoil.

Nevertheless, the mind may decide to consistently play a biased slideshow of the same place.

The kind that has you wondering whether God really wanted you out despite the numerous instructions to leave.

I have been there enough times to know He means it, even so it doesn’t make it any easier.

Therefore, in a manner I relate to Lot, Abram too. He had a soft spot for his nephew and at the point their flock had greatly increased, he gave him first priority in choice of place.

Lot went in for the well watered; scripture likens it to the garden of the Lord.

In his eyes that was the best tract of land, a few chapters later an intervention comes in:

God involves Abraham in that decision making.

How could this place that was so promising, thriving and very fertile; the place given to him under Abram’s promised occupancy serve as a place that God needed them to have an overnight emergency evacuation?

This same place that God has prospered him and had him thrive in wealth?

Abram’s conversation with the angels demonstrated God’s intentionality on His invitation to reason together.

It also depicted His heart for Abram, His friend.

Abram intervened with the consideration of Lot’s preservation; him and his household.

Lot had literally settled in, confident of this place that had been allocated to him.

A place that was promising and delivered in fruitfulness.

A place that he grew to love so much so that even when it no longer served him, he couldn’t tell.

A place he stayed in the confidence of, this place was given under instruction.

This place will serve my good.

Thus, as Abram negotiated with God about redemption and preservation, there was the aspect of:

How did this place of blessing turn to be a place of great turmoil?

How did it turn out to be a place of great loss?

What happened to what You said?🥺

I trust Your instruction, I moved in obedience.

Why is it coming with much pain?

The hesitancy of Lot to leave is quite familiar to this Miss.

What do you mean it no longer serves me?🥺

I’m here at your last instruction.

Did I even hear you right?😩

However, this too was God displaying love to His own, PRESERVATION.

There was a cost to it for certain.

Yes, it no longer serves you.

Yes, you prospered in this same place.

Yes, you found yourself there courtesy of My instruction.

Yes, I know what I said and I meant it.

Yes, I did promise you it all, concerning this place.

No, I will not watch you fade and lose the ones I love.

Yes, this exit plan will severely cost you.

Even so, I will still show up and off for you.

All I need of you, is to go forth and not look back.

Simple but quite a difficult instruction to receive.

Lot’s wife was a great display of the struggle that was choosing obedience for this particular one.

God meant business, Lot was determined to walk in obedience at whatever cost.

It cost him his wife, almost lost his kids and everything he had worked for went up in the sulphur flames.

He still kept at it.

Speak of resolve.

Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

There are places of instruction that I have lingered a tad bit longer than anticipated because the last pin 📍 Papa dropped was to that space.

I know you might have experienced it too.

A willing heart to walk in obedience yet your mind is on overdrive trying to process it all.

Or probably you are still there.

Here’s truth that served as reassurance:

Papa is a great restorer,

He gives supernatural acceleration.

He redeems time.

He brings about recompense our way.

Literally, nothing is impossible with Him.

I stand utterly grateful, that this modern day experience won’t have you turning into a pillar of salt smack in the middle of the road for such cases.

Thank God for the provision of the canopy of grace.

Nevertheless, there is a cost attached to that lingering and hesitation in moving forward.

That place no longer serves you.

No, Papa did not have His instructions mixed up.

He meant it all.

That said, the provision of free will He consistently sends our way is what transpired.

It did not put a damper to His plans, it just meant that He needed to reroute you to the promised greater at whatever cost.

Even if it meant Him anointing a new king.

Hugs and Kisses❤️❤️
