PAPA’S BLUEPRINT

At the tail end of the year that was, this lass received quite interesting an instruction that I battled with for quite long;

‘Relinquish the blueprint you have for Me to handover Mine and make Myself manifest in your life’

It was right after such a great high and I was just reveling in the goodness of God. I’d barely dusted the grin off my face at the point of this instruction.

‘What blueprint Papa?🧐’ ‘Been here running on Your time 😅’

However, deep down even as I responded there was an unsettling feeling at the pit of my stomach.

I cringed at what it would translate to.

Moses moved at the same heartbeat, Exodus 2 is the backdrop to this display. A Hebrew nursed by his mother yet raised by an Egyptian princess. In the comfort of royalty and greatness.

He walked in an awareness of the greater He had been called to: One day he would come to the rescue of his people, the how was what was lost on him.

Therefore, Moses chose his own strength for this one after all, it was what felt right to do.

Squared out a brawl between his own and an Egyptian resulting in an unexpected casualties. Placed comfort in it being a discreet outcome only to later realize it was public, putting him to flight.

This action cost the Israelites an extra thirty years in anguish and it took a burning bush for him to finally align to God’s way.

Sounds familiar?

Better yet, maybe Moses’ sounds so out of reach so let us work with a familiar alternative 😅.

Beautiful Sarah😁.

She received a word that sent her laughing, the now seemed incapable of its manifestation. She, however, chose to stand of God’s faithfulness for the fulfillment of the word.

Time lapsed yet she stood at the same place of waiting, incognizant of the renewed youth and preparation to bring forth the promise.

She chose understanding instead, lent out her maid servant in an attempt to midwife the word given.

The outcome was strife and eventually the child sired was ejected from their abode. Heart ache and frustration notwithstanding.

Yet in His own wisdom and perfect timing, God established the word sent much to their dismay.

Moses and Sarah chose to initially work with their blueprint rather than pursuit of His.

The point at which they came to the end of themselves is when God swooped in and manifested that which had been sent out to happen.

A trade in: His way for their way.

Therefore, dear Little one:

Sometimes things don’t always go as planned.

Other times may call for us having to bury our expectations to enable embracing the new.

That place of death that ushers an unexplainable grieving.

Not for sadness but joy.

It is a place of need for constant reminders that God’s blessings maketh rich and add no sorrow to it.

An answered prayer that has you relinquishing the blue print of expectations had.

That space of pain dosed in joy.

Standing at the door of answered prayers yet you need to let go of how you thought things would turn out.

Allow God to give you His blueprint.

So here and now,

Release all that was to have been.

Lay it out down at His feet, trading it in for His new.

Choose to revel in His goodness.

For He is a good Father and even here

He is good.

Hugs and Kisses.
