By Grace

A  beautiful reminder and much needed pit   stop:

“For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ!

We have become His poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny He has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!”

Ephesians 2:8, 10 TPT

The past few months have been heavy in a manner that words lack and a proper cocktail for certain.

The quest to find balance in the new whilst surrounded by prophetic words coming to pass one after another as we tarry too for the remainder.

It is easy to find yourself flirting with the belief that it is by works we have acquired these things or rather sustain.

Nevertheless, God is quick to remind us otherwise.

Even in the new and beautiful I have found myself drowning…not in anything concerning, rather my wanting approach at dealing with change.

(Total works in progress🙈. Aren’t we all?🤷🏽‍♀️)

In less than 3 months, this lass moved plenty of spaces and levels which felt like a total blur.

It was hot tears of thanksgiving with a dash  feeling lost all together.

Finding a balance between faith and diligence while stewarding the blessings.

Yet again, standing at the same place of ask in quest for that which presses thy side.

Is it a needed boost in sufficiency of grace or a stronger resolve to see it through till an answer comes forth?

Where do you draw the line between faith and denial?

In an almost unsettling back and forth on what is of value.

A refocusing on He who promised and standing on His faithfulness was what held ground for Missy.

With the resounding truth that in leaning on our own strength, we already stand defeated playing on repeat.

His little warrior girl trading in the supposed scripts and blueprints pegged on her own understanding for basking under the canopy of grace.

The what would have been in our own wisdom or the expectation to be. Trying to police a God so mighty, He who created time and ordered our steps.

Intentionally taking stock:

Do we so badly need to belong that we forsake what’s Godly for what’s aesthetically pleasing.

These beautiful revelations that only you and a handful He sent your way for confirmation know. Yet deep down there’s an ache for the greater and bigger yet to be be unveiled.

I guess this is where Mary found herself, at the cusp of prophetic words given.

A place where her then fiancé almost took for the hills if not the intervention by an angel.

Nevertheless;

These very words she pondered over.

These mysteries revealed to her that she desired to share with those spaces she deemed safe yet couldn’t.

The silent confirmation that came with the few God had revealed His heart to over the same.

The child in her cousin’s womb leaped upon embrace.

The Spirit of God filled Elizabeth and granted utterance of mysteries.

The three wisemen spoke of the same glory she’d been exposed to.

The shepherds too served as a marker to the greater truth albeit a humble alternate.

She had more than enough to back her up.

However, given the times and seasons of this backdrop, it must have been the most difficult quest to keep at.

Even so;

Her resolve to see it through.

Her shift in perspective over what matters.

Her alignment to receive as said;

That was all the difference needed.

She trusted He who is faithful thus didn’t need to understand it.

A given surrender to align for His glory.

A reckless abandonment to the King,

Like Ruth to her mother in law’s God.

The God that redeems and restores tenfold.

Two women with a promise that met fruition in the most interesting of ways yet, ended up in the same lineage.

As matriarchs in the lineage of Emmanuel, our Saviour.

For certain, this you asked of the Lord, He graciously answered your prayers.

Thus little one, step out of the ideology of works and embrace grace with our eyes on the prize provisioned by the Author and Finisher of our race.

For He truly does make all things work together for the good of those who love Him.
