Dear Little One❤️

It’s been a long minute with a mash of seasons reiterating Ephesians 6:13, ‘…after having done all that you the crisis demands, to stand firmly…’ Nevertheless, about two days ago I received a request to write to a not so little one anymore. It had me in deep retrospect and I felt led to just leave it here. A reminder of God’s faithfulness and a reassurance of the journey that is.

Dear Little One,

I’m happy to see the girl you are becoming a glorious unfolding of goodness all around.

You are brilliant, beautiful, confident and well disciplined. You stand out in a crowd. Given to the service of God. Walk in the awareness that you are deeply loved and cherished❤️.

You are surrounded by a community who are cheering you on in this life journey. A people who are willing to hold your hand through what come may, a safe space to allow growth both in stature and nature.

Keep Mom and Dad close, let them be your best friends. Allow them to see you as their little daughter. Nevertheless, please extend grace to them as they are grandma/grandpa’s little son and daughter. They are super heroes in our eyes but they also are human; figuring out their own life journey as well.

When the time is right, find a gift to carry with as you seek out a priestly blessing from Dad, it is for you and your siblings. There are doors that remain shut until he speaks over your life.

Be kind with your siblings, when all is said and done, family is all you have left. You may find a community of friends that become family, however, remember the family God chose for you. Sisters are God-given lifetime best friends.😊

Remain deeply routed in God. That’s the little secret I want to let you in on: It is never in vain to serve Him. I once was that little girl that began serving way earlier than her peers. Even when life’s happenings came and it got tough, I was surrounded by a community that reminded me of the why.

The foundation I kept digging deeper in terms of my relationship with God held me through. The house built on the rock weathers all storms.

As you dominate in the market place (in school that will eventually lead to a career path), kindly remember your spiritual well being determines how far you will access. Scripture is the guide book on ethics and how to maneuver those spaces too. Therefore, hide yourself in God’s word and choose to thrive in every area of your life

Order precedes multiplication; a spirit of excellence will have you stand out above the rest. Daniel’s life is a great example.

Whilst you sit through a series of tests and exams in the next decade of your life or so, always remember you have the mind of Christ: His DNA flows through your veins.

You are born for a time such as this: a child for a sign and wonder.

Carry you head high, adjust your crown and reign in every area as you are called to.

I love you so much ❤️.

Loads of Hugs
