“THESE ARE the names of the sons of Israel who came into Egypt with Jacob, each with his household:

****

But the descendants of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly; they multiplied and grew exceedingly strong, and the land was full of them.

****

So they set over [the Israelites] taskmasters to afflict and oppress them with [increased] burdens. And [the Israelites] built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh. But the more [the Egyptians] oppressed them, the more they multiplied and expanded, so that [the Egyptians] were vexed and alarmed because of the Israelites.”

Exodus 1:1, 7, 11-14

We are in a new dispensation with plenty that has been unfolding. An array of change of guards, a shaking in the systems known to us yet a beautiful unveiling of that which has been ours to occupy.

There is an aura of anticipation heavy in the atmosphere. Like the pangs of labour when the time is nigh, we as a woman about to bring forth. Bubbling with great expectation of what is yet to come.

Even more, the constant feeling of a weight over circumstances surrounding us in a manner that may grow difficult to shake it off.

There are those God has tempered their heart with reassurance over time through wilderness experiences and have chosen to maintain their position as so. Nevertheless, there are many joining us on this stand of faith, choosing sonship over whatever other shiny objects that may be dangled their way as distraction. Those who are in great need of reassurance. This is for you❤️.

Over the past two years, whilst in the thick of unexplainable heat and difficulty in spaces of interaction or assignment, I fought to maintain my eye on the prize. The physical screamt of insufficiencies and the possibility of lack seemed to be jeering at me. Threatening a paralysis over fear, the external pressure choosing to go for the intentional quest of budding faith.

I stood encouraged by the truth that is: Papa never leaves His children unattended. It was what I did to manage the working environment scenario. However, those around me had their seams threatening to give at the weight of the demands over them.

Therefore, even as we power through this new year in the spaces of assignment and allocation, mine is to reintroduce you to Exodus 1. The background to the reminder I need us to have on auto replay.

It can be that you found yourself in a space that’s unknown due to circumstances in the familiar places which had you scampering off for relief.

Yet in the nation that the children of Israel stood as foreigners, God blessed His people; from seventy to a number big enough to threaten the then Pharaoh🙈.

The plot twist and what was about to be Pharaoh’s biggest headache😅

Whatever they planned for evil, God turned it for good.

They tried a harsh environment to put them to an end, the Israelites greatly increased in number.

They were reduced to severe slavery, yet the more fruitful the Israelites became.

Pharaoh tried asking midwives to intervene when the Israelites got sons to control population; their women were too fast for them in bringing forth.

Pharaoh pushed further, God dealt with the Egyptian midwives’ hearts,

Israel’s children stood out💥.

Thus little one, it truly doesn’t matter how it goes:

You are born resilient.

You are born with His DNA.

You are customed like a tree planted by the waters, to bear fruit in and out of season.

Speak faith in all things.

Keep your head high.

Position yourself for His manifestation.

You are operating under a different economy.

You have the vantage point of our Helper, He will lead you into all truths, bring you into revelations.

Clothe you in royalty even as you carry on with the servant heart.

Do not despair, don’t let your guard down.

Wisdom is provisioned,

Understanding is apportioned.

For those who know their God,

They shall do great exploits. 💪🏽

Hugs❤️
